Roberto Terracciano

Hello there! I'm a friendly and passionate UX/UI designer who believes in the power of inclusive and accessible design.

I graduated from the Ironhack bootcamp in 2022, where I had the opportunity to learn and embrace diverse design methodologies like Design Thinking. These approaches enable me to create exceptional products that prioritize user needs, even within tight timeframes.

During the bootcamp, I worked both independently and collaboratively with colleagues, gaining valuable experience. One notable project was my contribution to the development of an exciting app for the Six Day Berlin event.

I'm also a lifelong learner and sharer.

For over 5 years, I worked in major cultural institutions as a museum docent. Prior to that, I utilized my language skills as a translator in the tech industry, working with renowned companies like Google and Huawei. I also had the opportunity to contribute as a QA language specialist at Nintendo of Europe.

To delve deeper into my journey, you can explore my detailed résumé.

My academic background lies in Cultural and Software Studies.

Throughout my research, I delved into captivating topics such as locative media, art, architecture, and cinema. You can find some samples of my work here and here. Additionally, I've contributed an article on the UX of dating apps, which you can explore here.

In 2020, I had the opportunity to create a one-episode podcast discussing neurological conditions and their impact during the pandemic. This was a project I did for the esteemed art collective Butik. Feel free to listen to the show here.

If you're curious to know more about me, here's a glimpse.

I have a great passion for concerts, especially during the summer, and I find solace in the beauty of the sea. XX century art captivates my attention, and I have a deep appreciation for delectable cuisine.

Having lived in various European cities, from Lisbon to Stockholm, Frankfurt to Venice, I now divide my time between Berlin and Naples.

In addition to being fluent in Italian, English, and Portuguese, I have a good understanding of French and can comfortably work in Spanish-speaking environments.
